DevFest is an annual decentralised tech conference hosted by Google Developer Groups across the globe.

Each DevFest event gets crafted by its local organisers to fit the needs and interests of its local developer community.

Whether through hands-on learning experiences, technical talks delivered in local languages by experts, or by meeting fellow local developers, DevFest attendees learn how to build together and innovate on Google's developer tools and other technologies.

2022 will be the 11th year 🎉 of DevFest and marks the beginning of the second decade of the GDG community.

HELP your community learn and build successfully on Google's suite of developer products and other technical resources that spur growth within the community.

Within a local context for the GDG Enugu community, Devfest as an activity helps to grow the level of engagement within the community, which helps in achieving the #Next1000Developers goal that began about three years ago and has been achieving varying levels of success each year.
